Welcome to the Bankers' Taxation Circle

The objective of the Bankers’ Taxation Circle (the BTC) is to facilitate the exchange of information and discussion on all taxation and related matters and its motto is ‘Friendship through knowledge’. It is the principal informal discussion and networking forum for those working within the banking tax sector in the UK.

The BTC organises a number of events each year to which members are welcome to attend. These events comprise a series of technical seminars held throughout the year and it’s flagship event – the annual conference – typically held in June. In addition, the AGM and annual dinner are held in the autumn. Refer to the Events tab for further details of these events and how to register.

Membership to the BTC is open to those who work in banks or financial institutions in the UK who are involved in taxation at all levels as well as, at the sole discretion of the Committee, those who work in the banking taxation field in some other capacity.

The committee is elected each year at the AGM, however members are welcome to join the committee at any time and should contact a member of the committee here if interested in finding out more.
